My name is Christoph Menge. I am a self-employed software developer living in the beatiful town of Munich, Germany.
What I like about software development? Structure. Design. Architecture. Being a physicist, I am interested in the way man-made concepts model reality, reduce complexity and ultimately solve problems.
I mainly develop business applications for the .NET Platform using C#, but my professional experience started eight years ago with game programming using C, C++ and some Intel assembly. Since then, however, I also created different kinds of software such as linux daemons.
Right now, I work on a highly interesting project using .NET 3.5 and WPF – two excellent technologies whose full potential is yet to be explored.
My hobbies include sailing, cooking and watching movies.
The purpose of this blog is to give something back to the community, which has always helped me so much.
